La Vue Restaurant first opened on Queen Street in 2014, boasting magestic views of Brisbane’s Story Bridge. Surrounded by parkland and offering a European-inspired menu, the venue offers a stylish, sophisticated experience with a touch of romantic French flair.

The kitchen focuses on Modern Australian cuisine with a strong French influence and a celebratory feel. Regularly updated and refreshed, the menu is always innovative and a perfect showcase of fine produce, time-honoured preparation methods and a strong emphasis on sauces and finishes.

La Vue’s current menu is laden with delectable delights, with a myriad of options to start the meal. From Soup du jour or Duck Ristto with Mascarpone, to Foie Gras or Quail Stuffed with Grape and Thyme, the entrees could be a meal in themselves, a grand distinction of French cuisine.

The main dishes are equally as alluring, from French classics Veal Eye Fillet with Morell Mushrooms and Noisettes of Lamb with Rosemary Jus, Australian fusion dishes also complement the menu. Tiger Prawns Thermidor are servied with Gratin Dauphinoise Potato, or the Ocean Trout with Caper Sauce also catches the eye. Numerous beef options are scattered on the menu, from eye fillet to rib eye on the bone. To round out the selection is the Pork Medallions with Sage and the Savoy Chicken and Prosciutto Ballotine with Champagne Veloute.

As well as being a popular choice for dining, La Vue offers venue options for weddings and other events, with the experienced management team always on hand to deliver beyond expectations. La Vue Restaurant is open seven nights each week, 5:30pm until late.
