Australian ICON fashion series is launching at Treasury Brisbane on Thursday 12 July, where 10 Brisbane icons will be walking the catwalk for some of Queensland’s top designers.
In a surprising and exciting twist, icons from the sporting arena will also walk the red carpet alongside their counterparts from the entertainment and fashion industries as 200 guests sip champagne within Treasury Hotel’s iconic courtyard – itself transformed into a glittering European inspired enclave. Designers involved include George Wu, Paul Hunt, Wil Valor, Urbbana, Gail Sorronda, Chelsea De Luca and White Label Noba
Stepping out in her home state wearing George Wu, Star Entertainment Ambassador Erin Holland will lead the group and start the show with a stunning song performance. The looks on the evening will include the best of the current season with a sneak peek of next season’s designs – including an outfit from icon of the future, QUT’s fashion design student Alex Parker-Wilkin – in a curated designer show produced by Damien Anthony Rossi and Kellie Alderman.
