Cooking lovers wanting to create new opportunities, learn valuable skills and connect with industry peers in the culinary arena should enter the 2018 Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award cooking competition. As one of Australia’s longest running culinary competitions for young chefs, the Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award provides a platform for the country’s best and brightest talent to connect with culinary peers, learn new skills outside the classroom and the kitchen, create amazing dishes, and experience many new and wonderful opportunities.

If successful in the region’s heat, competing chefs will cook off against the country’s best culinary talent in the national finals at Fine Food Australia in Melbourne this September with one team being crowned the 2018 national chef champions and awarded the culinary trip of a lifetime to Italy.

Entry is for teams of two who are Australian residents working in the culinary industry and aged between 16 and under 25 years of age on 30 September, 2018. Entry is open until midnight on 11 May, 2018. Regional and metro cook offs will occur in June and July 2018. The national final cook off will be held in Melbourne in September 2018.
