Innerspace Contemporary Art celebrated the opening of its sixth exhibition Slowly, Subtly on Friday 14 September. Slowly, Subtly was an exhibition of paintings by two emerging women artists Laura Horrocks and Rachel Farlow. Horrocks explores the idea of things falling together and coming apart, while Farlow creates a passage to push beyond pictorial definitions to communicate the experience of time and memory. The artworks aim to emphasise a slowness in looking that triggers awareness in the subtle sensibility of everyday experience.
