A new food market will be opening at North Harbour in February 2019 on a high street of customised containers. BITE market will celebrate the produce of the Moreton Bay region, engaging with local producers and flavour makers to create a food market that overflows with taste, colour and entertainment.
The market will be a custom-designed fully-fenced 5000 square metre dining precinct, with dedicated parking for more than 600 cars located off Exit 150 on the Bruce Highway on Buchanan Drive, just 12 minutes from North Lakes and 25 minutes from Brisbane.
Founder of BITE, renowned caterer and food creator Tom Burke said he is calling for expressions of interest from stallholders to be a part of what promises to be one of the biggest food adventures on Brisbane’s northside. “BITE will be based in the fastest growing region of Australia – proudly calling East Burpengary and the Moreton Bay region home,” he said. “BITE represents a new platform for local food creators, artisans and creatives to use as shopfronts, sampling markets and podium performance spaces.”
Stallholders are invited to apply via the BITE market website. BITE will open every Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm. $3 entry per adult, with children 12 years and under free of charge.
