Comuna Cantina will launch a new cocktail menu and accompanying new food menu to the Brisbane and Gold Coast venues after intense research and development to create exactly what guests are searching for.

Comuna Cantina Owner and Director Tim Johnson said the success both locations have enjoyed during the past 12 months and the feedback they have received from guests was perfect mix to create their new menu. “Creating a new menu wasn’t done because we felt like we need to change what we offered, it was done with the customer in mind using the feedback we receive,” he said. “The adage of ‘the customer votes with their feet and wallets’ is truer than ever, and it is up to the owners and decision makers in venues to meet the expectations of their guests.”

The evolution of the food and cocktail menu took more than three months of research and development by Mr Johnson and his Head of Drinks, Jesus Molina, who has more than 20 years global experience mixing cocktails in some of the world’s most classic bars. “Creating new cocktails sounds like a dream job, but the real reward is seeing guest being blown away by what we’ve come up with,” Mr Molina said. “All of the cocktails we make look brilliant and are very much ‘Instaworthy’, and with names like Pink Panther, Comuna Colada, Bubblegum Sour, Hurricane Colada and our very popular Tim Tam Espresso Martini, there is something for everyone.”

Comuna Cantina will have more to celebrate in the New Year as they get ready to open their newest restaurant in Everton Park in the first half of 2019 as part of the new laneway dining precinct at Everton Plaza.
