The accomplishments of the Sunshine State’s most extraordinary tourism operators and individuals were recognised on Friday November 8 at the 2019 Queensland Tourism Awards. Presented at the newly constructed $10 million Sunshine Coast Convention Centre at Novotel Twin Waters Resort, more than 900 guests gathered to celebrate the achievements of Queensland’s best tourism operators. It was a big night for Brisbane, with the State’s capital taking home 10 accolades and winning big in the luxury accommodation category. Brisbane operators secured two out of three Awards in the Luxury Accommodation category, with newcomers – The Calile Hotel presented with Gold and W Brisbane receiving the Bronze.
