Sanctuary Cove‘s The Marine Village is hosting its annual Easter Eggstravaganza, a free, family friendly day of seasonal activities on Sunday 1 April from 10am to 3pm. The Marine Village will host the popular event on Easter Sunday, inviting Gold Coast locals and visitors to the precinct to enjoy a happy, hoppy day out with a bounty of activities catering for all ages. The Village will host a variety of child friendly entertainment, including giant inflatables, trampolines, pony rides, baby animal farm, craft activities, face painting, and even a special visit from the Easter Bunny himself.
Kids are invited to explore the precinct on an Easter egg hunt with a difference. Instead of searching the grounds for treats, children will have fun finding the hidden code words which can then be redeemed for chocolate eggs. Little egg hunters can burn off their extra energy with a train ride around The Marine Village or cruise the surrounding tranquil waters on board the MV Kilkie ferry, while roving entertainers will keep crowds amused throughout the day with ongoing performances.
Head of Marketing and Events at Mulpha Sanctuary Cove Johan Hasser said the Easter Eggstravaganza event has become a holiday tradition for many Gold Coast families who love to enjoy the family orientated and free day out. “It’s a great opportunity for the whole family to come together and explore The Marine Village during the Easter holidays, while also enjoying a range of family-friendly dining and shopping options,” said Johan.
