A Midsummer Night’s Dream At The Lake

A riotous ride through a world of young lovers, fairies and fools awaits audiences as Little Seed Theatre Company presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Macdonald and staged in the Cooroy Amphitheatre at the Noosa Botanic Gardens, it is also part of the upcoming Anywhere Theatre Festival.
The storyline of Shakespeare’s comedy, set in a forest, centres on two pairs of lovers who enter the kingdom of fairies. What ensues is a mix of hilarity, heartbreak and high romance. Little Seed’s director, Johanna Wallace, will co-direct the play alongside Ilsa Wynne-Hoelscher Kidd. Heather Groves, the production’s musical director, will present original and live music, while magnificent costumes, designed by Leona Seib and Sally Alexander, will capture the botanical theme.
