Auguste The Label will be launching its first retail store outside of the boutique’s base in Byron Bay, with the new James Street store expected to swing open its doors in early October.
Created by Byron Bay native and Harper’s BAZAAR Woman of the Year Ebony Eagles, the boutique Australian brand was born with a clear vision in mind: to transcend trends and design future vintage pieces that will be loved for seasons, even generations, to come. A proud member of the 1% For The Planet movement, the label is built on a foundation of environmental consciousness with the core belief that all fashion businesses should play a part in designing the best version of the future. Priding itself on creating high-quality garments with unique designs that are made sustainably. From the fabrics and factories to the packaging and the charities they support, it is always a top priority.
But it is not only environmental concerns that Auguste The Label is involved with. In 2018, the brand partnered with UN Women in order to raise funds in the fight for gender equality – designing and selling female empowering t-shirts, where 100 per cent of the retail price is donated to UN women. Since the partnership, Auguste The Label has raised more than $70, 000 and has reached more than 15 million people worldwide.
To celebrate the launch of their Fortitude Valley store, the creative minds behind Auguste The Label will be hosting a competition with prizes that include flights for two to Byron Bay, two nights accommodation in a boutique hotel, meals and activities, all of which are quintessential for a true Byron Bay getaway. Stay tuned to the brand’s social channels for more information.
