Beer enthusiasts will be frothing to hear the Beer InCider Experience is set to grace the Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday 9 March, headlined by rock band DMA’s. Historically held in September, the popular festival fixture will host its 2019 event unseasonably early (in addition to its usual two-day event in September), yet with the same promise to deliver craft beer and cider, excellent music line-up, great food and good times.
Festival-goers have the chance to sip and critique the liquid gold on offer while they chat with the brewers, while listening to some of Australia’s best musical talents. The Brisbane festival has become synonymous with its stellar line-up, and this year will not disappoint with the DMA’S as headliner alongside Something for Kate, Alex the Astronaut, WAAX, West Thebarton and Loser.
Founded by former lawyer Martin Keetels, the event has become a must-visit mainstay on the food and beer lovers calendar attracting more than 19,000 festival-goers each year. Now in its sixth year in Brisbane, Beer InCider has continued to grow in popularity because it provides festival lovers with the unique opportunity to enjoy all their favourite things in one location – beer, cider, music, ping pong and food. “The Beer InCider Experience showcases Australia’s best breweries and cideries. We’re passionate about our burgeoning beer and cider industries and seek to provide a festival which is a true tasting experience,” said Martin. “Add to this combination a selection of Australia’s biggest musical acts, a ping pong arena, roaming entertainment and the chance to pick up some insider knowledge at the Brewer’s Stage, and you have a dream day out.”
