Venzin Group has veered away from its typical Asian-style fit-outs and has launched a new European-inspired cafè The Bloom Room in the heart of Birkdale. Community natives and owners of the cafè Chris Hollingsworth and Giorgina Venzin say they wanted to create something special in their hometown and get back to their roots.

The cafè, which had its soft opening on Saturday 25 August, features crisp white and blue shades throughout, with an exposed-brick wall adorned with blooms, leading up towards the ceiling where more flowers hang delicately. The cafè has been designed to make guests feel as though they have been transported to a magical place, somewhere out of town. Perhaps inside an off-track cafe in the middle of Paris or London, relishing in the European springtime, and sipping on one of the two Veneziano coffee blends the house offers. Guests can opt for an intense and robust flavoured coffee or sip on a silky and fruity one instead, all whilst taking in their delicate pastel surroundings.

Flavours of the world are brought together by chef Alfie, who has created a diverse all-day breakfast and lunch menu. Italian-inspired Caprese salad, traditional British bangers and mash, house-made sticky date waffles and a hearty baked eggs dish are only a glimpse of what the menu offers. The cafè also has a delicious range of health foods like superfood lattes, smoothies and other tasty and equally beautiful concoctions, including Acai bowls.

The Bloom Room is a picturesque little European cafe perfect for a smooth coffee, delicious meal, or even just to enjoy the atmosphere.
