The official launch of Botanica: Contemporary Art Outside gave guests a first-look to uncover a stunning series of installations set among the beauty of the City Botanic Gardens on Thursday 9 May. Guests were treated to a preview tour, refreshments and an opportunity to meet some of Australia’s leading contemporary artists and designers. Running from until 19 May, Botanica transforms the City Botanic Gardens into an outdoor gallery inciting new perspectives through the interplay of art and nature. This unique event will offer a rich public program of free tours, talks and workshops. Botanica 2019 is curated by UAP – Urban Art Projects.
