Brisbane women will be spoiled this coming June, with a never-before-seen women’s event for the city set to descend on the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) at South Bank on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June.
Modern Woman Expo is an event that brings together motivated and passionate women to get inspired, educated and empowered to succeed in every aspect of their busy lives. The inaugural Modern Woman Expo is expected to attract more than 2500 visitors through its doors over the weekend, including women looking for a holistic approach to their personal development.
More than 60 exhibitors will take to the expo floor covering finance to health and wellbeing and everything in between. Each visitor will be thoroughly entertained across the two days from a number of event features on the Expo Floor.
The Centre Stage will play host to inspiring and renowned speakers such as Robin Bailey, Lisa Curry, Tracey Mathers and many more, on their life journeys and how they continue to be successful. At the Health Hub, visitors can listen to experts on healthy living and nutrition as well as live cooking demonstrations. Special guests Valerie and Courtney Ferdinands from My Kitchen Rules will share their knowledge and inspire women on the use of spice to be creative and adventurous in the kitchen.
Visitors are encouraged to try something new in the Movement Studio with workshops in yoga, fitness, dance and much more running all weekend. All of these sessions are included in the entry ticket price, and visitors are encouraged to get among the excitement.
Visitors who are looking to slow-down can relax and unwind in the Be(you)tiful Bar with a mini-treatment, soak up the event atmosphere in the Latte Lounge or take a casual walk down Wine Lane where they can enjoy free wine tasting by a selection of Australian wineries.
