The mouth-watering tastes of Gluten Free will be showcased at Coeliac Queensland’s 12th annual Gluten Free Expo.

The only event of its kind in Queensland, the Gluten Free Expo was a record setting sell-out last year, and this year will host dozens of Australia’s favourite gluten-free producers, experts and gluten-free chefs.

The charity event, held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 26 and 27 from 9am to 4pm each day, benefits those living with Coeliac Disease and medically required gluten-free diets. This year there will be a Children’s Entertainment Zone and a new dedicated street food section. Visitors can enjoy the entertainment and generous giveaways while sampling a great variety of delectable treats and tasters.

Did you know that one in 70 Australians suffer from Coeliac Disease? The Expo opens up attendees’ awareness as they can sample many of the exciting and different gluten-free foods that may not be readily available in their major supermarkets.

Among this year’s Expo highlights will be presentations from Dr Jason Tye-Din, leading gastroenterologist and Coeliac Disease expert; and Desi Carlos, Accredited Dietitian and co-author of Mediterranean Eating Cook Eat Live.
