Destination central in Byron region this summer will be Brunswick Picture House, hosting Christmas choirs, cheeky cabaret, a circus and comedy.

Located in the gorgeous not-so-sleepy beach/river holiday destination, Brunswick Heads, the Picture House boasts razzle dazzle style, unique and always original fun programming and a stunning fantasy garden and café. Known affectionately as Bruns Picture House, this lovingly restored reincarnate film house fills its stage with big shows all the way through summer. Its holiday program includes a line up of international and Australian headline comedy acts. If you thought last summer’s Wil Anderson shows were “the bomb”, then hold your breath for their December and January comedy offerings.

And then there’s the hilarious and risqué signature Cheeky Cabaret with its cast of local and international divas, troubadours and funsters. The Picture House will host fabulous tentpole shows offering a riotous line up of family friendly and adult shows. Kicking summer off with an evening of song for all denominations — The Pub Choir meets Christmas Carols on 24 December combining five excellent choirs, with terrific food and drink. As well, the always delightful Pitt Family Circus returns, the internationally acclaimed Djuki Mala hits the stage for two shows only, and Iconic, a drag show like none other dazzles, plus much more. World renowned show producers Brett Haylock and Chris Chen apply the same dedication and devotion to Bruns Picture House program as they do to delivering their international hits, La Soiree and Club Swizzle.
