Bucci Italian restaurant chowed into its seventh birthday celebrations with a festive and very Italian style Sunday lunch soiree on Sunday 31 March. Attended by loyal diners and famous faces, the lunch was hosted by Sofie Formica. Complete with music and burrata (cheese) making, in a completely full house, guest palettes were jet-setted to the Italian region of Puglia with shared feasting of regional favourites such as Burrata, Panzerotti (filled with milk braised lamb shoulder served with salsa rosa), Baccala (salted cod), Orrecchiette (ear shaped pasta), Bracciole (rolled beef steak) and Pasticciotto (Pugliese custard pies) to name a few of the dishes on the eight-course menu.
