Married at First Sight’s Nadia Stamp will be in Bulimba this Friday to host the ninth year of the Bulimba Fashion Festival.

The Bulimba Fashion Festival has run for nine years and has raised more than $20,000 for selected charities. Ms Stamp was spotted in Oxford Street earlier this week as she attended a photoshoot ahead of the event, which will showcase dresses, jewellery, beauty products and more from leading Brisbane designers.

Organised by Place Agent Shannon Harvey, the Bulimba Fashion Festival features a three course lunch, fashion parade and prizes, with all funds raised to be donated to charity. Ms Harvey said the event was as much about showing off Bulimba as it was about celebrating the creative people who live there. “I’ve worked at Place for 15 years and have lived in Bulimba my whole life,” Ms Harvey said. “I have met so many people through my work and I thought connecting them was a great way to give back to the community and showcase the area. We’re thrilled to have Nadia hosting the event – her bubbly personality and a clear sense of style comes as an absolute bonus. Each year we choose a charity to be the recipient of the event’s fundraising – this year, we’re going green and supporting the Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland. We’ll also go local, with funds being given to Bulimba State School.”

More than 300 people are expected to attend the event, which will feature fashion from Little Red Dress, Baiia, Glow Styling, Get Robed, Alexandra Ranken, Black Jacket Suiting and The White Owl Boutique. Young Queensland model, RSPCA supporter and ambassador Isabella Gray will also be in attendance.
