For Restaurateur Celine Damour, C’est Bon was the reason she moved to Australia and the reason she stayed. Now eleven years later, Celine and her partner and co-owner, Head Chef Peter Roelfes have reopened the doors of the much-loved Woolloongabba French favourite. The recent relaunch unveiled their most extensive renovation to date. “We wanted to create a space where people can choose how and when they want to dine. Somewhere relaxed and affordable, something simple and nice,” said Damour.

The newly opened C’est Bon boasts numerous options for diners including new menus, all day dining and a range of cosy and charming new spaces. Joining the highly recognised C’est Bon restaurant will be Le Bon Bar, serving breakfast, lunch and a bar and dinner bistro menu, a Garden Terrace with a rooftop lounge, and an architecturally designed cellar for intimate dining.

The menu changes daily and features seasonal offerings that focus on local produce and deliver unmatched freshness and quality. Lunch can be enjoyed in any of the newly opened spaces including the Bar and Garden Terrace. Seasonal menu items are intended for sharing and pairing with a vast array of French wine by the glass and impressive cocktail selection, all designed to be shared and enjoyed in the relaxed Bar and Garden Terrace spaces.

Co-owner and Head Chef Peter Roelfes has a particular interest in the history of the colonies and their cuisine and will incorporate these into fresh menu options. The newly built Cellar space will offer another option for diners seeking the benefits of a private room for special events. C’est Bon will also regularly host wine and food evenings featuring special combinations from their wine and produce suppliers.
