C’est Bon in Woolloongabba has been treating customers to a fine dining French experience for more than 10 years. With the Brisbane dining scene quickly changing and growing, C’est Bon owners Celine Damour and Peter Roelfes are expanding the restaurant to include a wine bar, open from 5pm from Tuesday to Saturday evenings.

The bar has taken the owners three years to plan and is finally open for the public to enjoy. Situated in a unique heritage listed space, the bar will serve a selection of French wines from Celine’s birthplace of Burgundy in France as well as cocktails, spirits and four beer taps. Celine and Peter have aimed to give the bar a modern feel with exposed bricks, imposing archways and polished wooden floorboards.

The restaurant is a favourite among Brisbane locals and visitors and has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor on multiple occasions. C’est Bon offers an a la carte menu that aims to introduce French cuisine to diners. The restaurant serves a range of French favourites including, escargots de bourgogne more commonly known as snails. C’est Bon has an authentic feel, with a cosy and charming interior that feels like provincial France.

The bar menu features charcuterie, cheese, oysters and foie gras, accompanied by the housemade baguette. Celine and chef Peter have big plans for their expanded restaurant and wine bar and cellar, function room, rooftop bar and urban garden expected to be complete around November.
