Effervescence hosted its VIP Champagne Weekend at Spicers Hidden Vale to the delight of many champagne lovers from Saturday 1 to Sunday 2 September. The fully immersive champagne experience began with a champagne and canapés cocktail party on Saturday night, where guests met the Bubble Diva herself Amanda Reboul. Over the course of the weekend, guests experienced a variety of activities, all while sipping on champagne – including a masterclass which highlighted the differences in champagne styles between smaller growers and larger houses. Each exquisite meal prepared by the Spicers Hidden Vale team was paired with a tasting from one of various growing regions of Champagne, France. And those bold enough learned how to sabrage a bottle of champagne at the Sunset Sabrage. The weekend concluded with a Tasting Under the Stars dinner, and of course, one final tasting of champagne.
