CAMS Cycling Collective has recently relocated from its previous home in West End to the food and lifestyle precinct at King Street in Bowen Hills. More than just a bike store, CAMS was developed by international racer Cameron Hughes as an indoor and outdoor cyclist training facility, nutritional consultancy, pilates studio and cafe.
With more advanced training facilities on offer, Hughes has created a centre with indoor simulations of some of the world’s most popular cycling routes, as well as outdoor training facilities with expert coaches. CAMS however is suitable for cyclists of every caliber and skill level.
With more than eight years of international racing under his belt, Cameron developed CAMS as his own take on a coaching facility that helps cyclists improve their skills and endurance.By developing a central hub for Brisbane cyclist, Hughes aims to create a community of like-minded people.
“CAMS Cycling Collective is much more than a classy facility,” Hughes says. “It’s a group of like-minded, friendly people with a shared passion. We support each other with professional guidance and friendship, to inspire our members to focus on the journey instead of the destination.”
Bringing with it, CAMS is home to the new Musette cafe, serving from 5.30am for early morning rides, and through the day with fresh and healthy eats.
