The Sunshine Coast brand are passionate about cheese and think that the Sunshine Coast hinterland is the perfect place to make cheese, with its panoramic vistas of rolling green hills, creeks and bushland. This lush setting makes for happy cows; and happy cows produce the purest milk. All of the milk used at the Woombye Cheese Company comes from small local farms and is collected daily by a local milk supplier, pasteurised and then delivered to the factory in Woombye fresh every day. The Cheeses are created and produced all  by hand, using traditional methods with care and experience.

Although the founder of Woombye Cheese Company Graeme is no longer there, to this day, Woombye Cheese Company is still 100% family owned and is now managed and run by Karen Paynter with her sister and brother-in-law Sandra Cadby and Barry Cadby, carrying on Graeme’s dream and passion every day which is the heart of Woombye Cheese Company.  All Woobye cheeses are award winners with a total of 21 awards from Dairy Industry Association, Australia and Australian Grand Dairy Awards, and many more, and their cheeses can be found on the menus of some of Australia’s top restaurants and in top retail outlets across Australia. The winner of the Australian Grand Dairy Awards this year will be announced on the 6th of February, 2020.
