Greenstreat – a new healthy express concept developed by brothers Jackson and Jesse McGrath – has opened is first Brisbane store at 262 Adelaide Street in the city.

Greenstreat was inspired by what Jackson and Jesse saw as a gap in the lunchtime market; they saw that the combination of fast and healthy food was seldom available. Following a research trip to the UK and the US is when the brother duo began shaping the brainchild of Greenstreat. Slowly they began creating satisfying and sustainable fast-food as a healthy choice for consumers and the rest is history.

For Jackson and Jesse, this nutritious, convenient style of eating is not just enjoyable healthy fuel for the body but a positive lifestyle change. It’s more than just food, it’s a lifestyle. “Everything is fresh and our produce is locally sourced where possible from growers from Sunshine Coast to Darling Downs,” says Jackson.

The restaurant showcases full transparency with a 2.5 metre wall of salad and live prep station, along with indoor seating for up to 40 people spread out over standard table seating also grandstand seating for those wanting to perch under the neon Greenstreat signage.

Changing seasonally, the specialty salad offering is nutritious, customisable and convenient with warm and cold options. Choose one of the 13 menu options ($12.50 to $14.90), to enjoy in a bowl or in a burrito. There are flavours for everyone, with inspiration from Thai, to Mexican making an appearance. Also available are 11 specialty sauces all made in house, like the famous Poppy Seed sauce.

The vision for the future is clean and green with plans to be a leader in sustainability through a commitment to implementing all new sustainable ideas/procedures and continually promoting “green” awareness within our community.

To celebrate the launch of Greenstreat in Brisbane, the team will be hosting an official launch week with $10 BOWLS on Wednesday 25th November to Friday 27th November from 10am-5pm.
