Surrounded by Brisbane botanicals, there is no better time than blooming jacarandas to launch the inaugural Jacaranda Gin Festival descending on King Street on Saturday 20 October.

Taking over King Street, in a partnership with Welcome to Bowen Hills and Swill Gin Bar, Brisbanites have been invited to take part in this one-of-a-kind experience. With more than 20 distillers, both Australian and international, the only question is which one to taste first. Paired with bites from some of Brisbane’s best food trucks, or King Street’s favourite foodie hotspots, there will be a variety of different flavours to experience all day. With day drinkers and night owls in mind, the festival is hosting two sessions. For those who want to be home before the sun sets, and those who want to continue partying until it rises, there is an option out there.

With live music, entertainment and gin-based activities, there is plenty to see. Including demonstrations and discussions with gin-crazed bloggers, experts, and figureheads behind the craze. Or for those looking for a more exclusive experience, the VIP Jacaranda Gin Club in King Street is where to be. Offering unique cocktails, gin tastings and fine food in a luxurious private space.

The Jacaranda Gin Festival is here for all the gin connoisseurs, fizz fanatics, liquor loves, and movers and shakers of town, and it is ready to serve.
