This year’s 61st TV WEEK Logie Awards at The Star Gold Coast did not disappoint. The stars came out in force going all out for their respective red carpet looks. The glitz and glamour of the Logies dazzled the Gold Coast once again, with local designers playing a key role in getting some of the country’s biggest stars red-carpet ready. Marina Mirage is home to a number of Gold Coast fashion institutions, that were ensuring celebrities were dressed to the nines. The Marina Mirage fashion houses’ Sonia Stradiotto Couture and Calleija Jewellers, had a big part to play in ensuring some of Australia’s biggest television stars were photo ready on the red carpet.

It comes as no surprise that Queensland premiere Annastacia Palaszczuk payed homage to the amazing  fashion talent that Queensland produces. The premier wore a custom black Sonia Stradiotto gown detailed with lace and a champagne tulle. Another notable inclusion utilising Queensland fashion talent is the Sunday Mail’s own Damien Anthony Rossi. Mr Rossi debuted Stradiotto for men, which featured a unique ensemble of a grey suit jacket that had a metallic sheen to it.

It was not just Gold Coast fashion designers that appeared on the Logies iconic red carpet. Gold Coast jewelers were seen on a number of stars bringing that extra glitz to televisions most glamours of nights. Calleija designs was featured effortlessly complimenting the gowns on the likes of Shelley Craft and Amanda Rose Keller.  The Calleija intricate jewellery designs delivered glamour and sophistication to television’s night of nights. The appearance of Stradiotto Couture and Calleija Jewellers at the Logies put the Gold Coast and more specifically Marina Mirage on the map in terms of premium fashion destinations.
