The opening night of Luciana Smith and Charlie Hillhouse’s exhbitions at Innerspace Contemporary Art Gallery was held on Thursday February 13. Drawing from her own observations and a range of pop culture and internet references, Luciana Smith twists her subjects into a fictional world that exists between the real and imagined. Charlie Hillhouse is an Australian based image-maker who works across film, photography and the printed form. His practice is informed by a passion to explore the everyday and finding new ways to document modern society.
