In a major coup for authentic Australian design, Luxxbox has taken out a number of awards at NeoCon 2019, the world’s leading trade show event for the commercial design industry.

The event is held annually at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago, attracting more than 51,000 visitors across three days. Making their NeoCon debut this year, Luxxbox showcased a number of new products from their extensive acoustic lighting and furniture ranges, with the aim of expanding into the North American market. Luxxbox has previously served clients throughout Southeast Asia however it is continuing to light up the world, providing holistic acoustic solutions to more designers internationally.

The company’s noise-cancelling acoustic light, Blade, was awarded 2019 Honoree in Interior Design magazine’s HiP Awards, as well as Editor’s Choice and Grand Prize in BUILDINGS Product Innovation awards. Blade reduces up to 80 per cent of reverberated noise in open spaces and is created from at least 65 per cent of recycled material. Luxxbox also walked away with Silver for Acoustic Solutions in the Best of NeoCon Awards, with judges praising the depth of the acoustic lighting range, bluetooth dimming integration and environmental sustainability practices.
