The Mercdes-Benz Fashion Festival Next Gen Group Show was held on Wednesday 28 August at Howard Smith Wharves. The runway show opened with MeQ Designs, a talking point for spectators for its adaptive clothing collection, focused on diversity and creating innovative clothing for people with disabilities. Other notable moments came from Stranger Designs, presenting colourful pieces covered in eclectic and unconventional finishes. Kelvin Grove State College had a section celebrating two students work leaving the audience in awe of the young students work. The show finished with a real crowd favourite Kimbralou, featuring bold jackets, head pieces and dresses covered in pop art and comic book inspired art, a clear fan favourite.
