Surfers Paradise locals are preparing to have their taste buds taken on an adventure through Nepal as CHOP CHOP Surfers Paradise welcomes Kathmandu Momo House and Bar to the iconic location.

Chop Chop is a nostalgic Asian style hawker food center at one of the most famous tourist destinations in Australia, it encompasses diverse choices of cuisines, ranging from Korean, Japanese, Thai, and more. Tourists can now have a try on Nepalese food offered by Kathmandu Momo House and Bar.

The Gold Coast’s first dedicated Nepalese restaurant will delight and intrigue with their rare flavours as they introduce locals to a new culinary journey through their unique preparation and presentation methods. All dishes served use fresh and natural ingredients, and does not include additives or preservatives. Chefs are specialized in Nepalese cuisine to enables customers to experience the flavours of Nepalese cuisine.

Momos, one of the highlights, are meat or vegetable filled dumplings originally from Nepal and Tibet. Momos served at Kathmandu Momo are completely handmade, filling the dumplings with different meat and vegetable mix, and are served with the restaurant’s house made sauce. People can experience the delicacy not only in traditional steaming, but in pan fried as well. Their Momo will take local’s dumpling game to the next level, fuelling the never-ending dumpling obsession with its combination of delicious spices and unique fillings.

Momo are not the only Nepalese delicacies on the menu, the restaurant also serves dishes like chicken chilli masala, buffalo chowmein and samosas adding to the international flavours.
