Mr and Mrs Jones, a sophisticated wine bar and the brainchild of Karen Phillips has opened on Portside Wharf Hamilton. Mr and Mrs Jones offers a jazz lounge aesthetic with a dark colour palette accentuated by a black-marble bar and a smattering of red roses.
Hatted chef Warren Turnbull, best known for his work at Sydney institutions Banc and Assiette, has curated the menu which includes dishes such as Kingfish ceviche with jalapeno puffed rice, Moreton Bay bug meatballs with onion puree, crisp confit chicken wings with lemon labne and za’atar, Chicarrón with chilli salt and black-vinegar mayonnaise, fermented black-garlic hummus on flatbread, Goats cheese ravioli with beurre blanc and blood orange and Slow-cooked lamb neck and Barramundi with caponata.
With Nan’s Piano calling Mr and Mrs Jones home, and amazing food paired with the perfect wine Mr and Mrs Jones adds a unique wine bar to the already diverse dining offering at Portside Wharf including Brisbane favourites Gusto da Gianni, Belvedere Bar n Grill, Byblos Bar, Sono Japanese Restaurant and more.
