Pond, Mistere Urliup
Found just outside the three idyllic villas at Mistere is a large pond adorned with lilypads and a sculpture of two brolgas dancing on the water. There is a fountain set in the middle of the pond which causes the light to reflect on the surface, making for a magical photograph.

Zen Garden, Mistere Urliup
Mistere at Urliup has an abundance of walking trails through the surrounding forest area with some leading to waterfalls, while others lead to forest sculptures. The giant Buddha statue in the Zen Garden makes for an exceptional shot.

Cane Fields, Murwillumbah
On the way to Mistere at Urliup, the surrounding cane fields add the perfect depth and vibrant green hue to photographs of the rolling valleys and Mount Warning. The contrast between the blue skies and green fields is the definition of picture-perfect.

Margaret Olley Art Centre, Murwillumbah
The Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Art Centre, are host to six exhibition spaces, each displaying carefully curated artworks of national and regional artists. Margaret Olley was a unique and exciting artist brought up in Tygalgah near Murwillumbah and the gallery reflects her personality and artistry to perfection.

Husk Rum and Gin Distillery, North Tumbulgum
Created and distilled along the Tweed River at Husk Distillery, ‘Ink Gin’ is infused with ink from the butterfly pea flower and a precise combination of tonics which cause the gin to change colour. But the distillery and surrounding land are a wonderland of untouched rainforest, cane fields and lush greenery, making for an excellent shot.

Mount Warning Lookout
The 12 kilometre track takes at least five hours, with a 100m vertical rock climb to get to the summit but the reward is a landscape view made for Instagram. Picture epic mountain ranges, lush greenery and soft clouds dispersed below the mountain peaks.
