It was a case of who’s who in the zoo as Visit Sunshine Coast partnered with the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce for a joint networking event at Australia Zoo on Wednesday 13 March. The sold out event saw more than 200 attendees catch-up at the Crikey Café overlooking the iconic Crocoseum, bringing together the region’s tourism operators and local business community. Visit Sunshine Coast CEO Simon Latchford updated members on the latest tourism news at the event, including the launch of The Curated Plate’s debut program, opening of the TreeTop Challenge at The Big Pineapple and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland being voted the second best road trip in Queensland. Visit Sunshine Coast will hold their next networking event on Wednesday 17 April in conjunction with the Nambour Alliance at The Big Pineapple.
