The Ray White Surfers Paradise Group, RWSP, recently teamed up with the Gold Coast Titans for the ultimate team building day, they joined forces in order to highlight the importance of team culture and strong discipline.
Fresh from securing Ray White Queensland’s No. 1 Sales Office title, RWSP wasted no time its efforts to develop the strengths of its team, pairing its leading salespeople with the city’s best National Rugby League athletes.
Andrew Bell CEO of RWSP, organized the day and stated afterwards that it was a fun way to learn that every industry has its challenges, as well as the importance of team culture and strong discipline to the success of any team. “We have a greater appreciation for the intensity at which the Titan’s work throughout a week in preparation for the weekly games and while the industries are certainly very different there was still a lot to be learnt,” said Mr Bell.
The day saw RWSP Group team members attend a training session, watching the Titan’s put through their paces before undergoing their very own training session. The RWSP Group then took on the Titan’s in a game of touch football with a highlight of the day being a combined lunch with an address from legendary Mal Meninga.
Mr Bell said the team benefited from Mr Meninga’s talk about what it took to play at the highest levels in a fiercely competitive environment. “The discipline and mental approach it takes to perform in a demanding and competitive environment is certainly something we can apply to our work environment,” Mr Bell said. “It’s all about working with your team and developing strengths to make sure it’s the strongest and the best it can be. The entire training day was a great experience for all and something that we will look to do again in the future.”
