Jacinta Stewart‘s new exhibition On The Brink was launched on Friday 2 August at Percolator Gallery. The Australian born artist, returning to our shores after more than 15 years living in New York, featured acrylic paintings of climate-threatened Australian birds. Budgies, cockatoos, cassowaries, and parrots are just some of the species that Jacinta has skillfully painted for this exhibition. She draws attention to the often forgotten importance of biodiversity in the Australian landscape. The exhibition will run until 25 August.
