The Brisbane Myer Centre will host the exclusive advanced preview of Peppa Pig: Festival of Fun, to celebrate 15 years of Peppa Pig and the launch of 10 new episodes.

Vicinity Centres have partnered with Universal Pictures to bring together the highly anticipated event where families and Peppa Pig fans of all ages are invited to enter a competition to win a VIP advanced preview of the latest episodes. The lucky winners will be invited to walk the pink carpet and be treated to a meet and greet with Peppa herself before settling in to watch the 10 new five minute episodes. The episodes will feature new characters, new locations and interactive entertainment putting little ones onto the big screen alongside Peppa Pig, encouraging children to sing, dance and play along.

With more than 800 licensees around the world, Peppa Pig is a top performing global preschool property that has been translated into more than 40 languages and broadcasted in more than 180 territories. The television series follows Peppa Pig, a cheeky little piggy who lives with her younger brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favourite things include playing games, dressing up, days out and jumping in muddy puddles. With three BAFTA Awards for pre-school animation and a pipeline of new episodes delivering fresh content through to the end of 2021, the global phenomenon continues to look bright for eOne’s popular little piggy.

Vanessa Perkins, Brand Manager for the Aspirational Centres, says, “we are so pleased to be able to partner with Universal Pictures to share this exclusive opportunity to our loyal customers and their families. Our centres provide a base for the community to get together and share authentic, one of a kind experiences, therefore we strive to ensure that our aim to provide relevant entertainment for our customers during their in-centre experience remains a focus for our team.”

Peppa Pig: Festival of Fun will be officially released by Universal Pictures International on Thursday 2 May.
