Rise Early Learning Surfers Paradise will celebrate its official opening with an event boasting fun for everyone, at the FunRISE Family Event and Open Day on Saturday 9 March 9 from 9am to 12pm.

The new centre located on the second level of Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre will service the local community and working population. Catering for a total of 88 placements for children aged from newborn to five years, the centre is looking forward to welcoming families to their fresh, child-focused precinct to experience first hand the immaculate facilities and learning-centered programs on offer.

At the three-hour event, guests can enjoy tours of the centre, a crazy scientist show, art and craft stations, plant their own seedlings to take home with a horticulturalist, or try their hand at cupcake decorating followed by a high tea. Families can also enjoy a free sausage sizzle and the chance to win one of two $500 cash prizes on the day. Plus, the first 250 guests will take home a gift bag packed with offers from Chevron Renaissance’s restaurants and retailers.

Rise Early Learning Centre director Rebecca Gunn said the FunRISE Family Event and Open Day is all about showcasing the elements that make Rise Early Learning different. “We want families to see what we are about so they can get a really strong feeling of why they should choose Rise Early Learning for their children and how we can support them to be the best parents they can be,” says Ms Gunn. “The experiences available at the FunRISE Family Event and Open Day have been specially selected to highlight what is on offer in the centre including our unique Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) program, our beach and nature kindy and also tea time, where we enjoy herbal tea with the children with the aim of engaging in meaningful communication.”

Rise Early Learning also offers services to parents through its parent education programs, including first aid courses, as well as support for working parents through its partnership with BubDesk to provide a number of professional workspaces for parents to use whilst their child attends the centre, enabling a smoother transition for parents rejoining the workforce.

From community-based excursions to visits to the local beach, park and library, Rise Early Learning provides unique real-life experiences beyond the realm of the traditional childcare setting. From cafe visits for a babyccino on a child’s birthday to a bath and baby massage, yoga, mindfulness and relaxation techniques, or providing first aid courses for parents along with quarterly guest speakers, Rise Early Learning delivers a service that breaks the industry mold. The centre takes pride in its team of teachers, with 25 staff including a Chinese speaking educator who teaches both Mandarin and Cantonese to the children as part of the centre’s language program.

Rise Early Learning is located at Level 2, Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre, 3240 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise.
