Shane and Danielle Boyes, from DD Group International, hosted its annual charity luncheon at Cloudland in Fortitude Valley on Friday November 1 to support RizeUp, an organisation supporting families affected by domestic and family violence.  Founded by Nicolle Edwards, the event included a speech from domestic violence survivor, Simone O’Brien, to inspire all Australian’s to stand up against domestic violence. RizeUp aims to provide much needed practical support to some of Australia’s most vulnerable families who have escaped domestic and family violence by providing fully-furnished homes once they leave refuge, and other essentials.
