Global beauty retailer Sephora has announced it will open its first 2018 store at Robina Town Centre this May. Sephora Country Manager Libby Amelia said the success of the Pacific Fair store opening in 2016 made it clear there was a demand for the makeup brand to expand on the Gold Coast.

“Robina Town Centre is at the heart of shopping, dining and leisure for locals of the Sunshine State and we are excited to bring the best of global beauty to their doorstep,” said Libby. “There will be a huge focus on the new and exclusive [at the new store].”

New brands will not be the only thing Gold Coast locals can look forward to as the location will be the first in Australia to introduce Virtual Artist technology in store. Virtual Artist allows customers to virtually try on products and compare the latest shades of lip and eye products.

“Our teams of talented Beauty Advisers are on hand to provide foundation matching and a wide variety of makeup services, but the beauty of Virtual Artist is that you can try on hundreds of colours all on your own, and from the traction we have via our app, we know our customers absolutely love it,” said Amelia.

Of the partnership, Robina Town Centre General Manager Shaine Beveridge added, “we are delighted to welcome global cosmetics retailer Sephora to our growing and diverse portfolio here at Robina Town Centre. “The addition of this internationally renowned brand signals another exciting chapter for our Centre as we continue to strengthen our retail offer, and deliver our customers with an outstanding shopping, dining and entertainment experience.”
