The Brisbane Christmas Parade presented by David Jones launched on Friday 14 December with thousands of Brisbanites lining Queen Street Mall. Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and former Australian Diamonds Captain Laura Geitz with son Barney cut the ribbon to launch the parade. Brimming with music and merriment, the parade featured a nativity scene, Santa and more than 150 performers to entertain and delight the young and young at heart.
