Toombul has unveiled its $35 million re-development Upstairs, an art-inspired, urban dining and entertainment precinct.

The precinct will feature up to 10 new new eateries, as well as an entertainment and lifestyle offering that will include a cinema. Headlined by Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, a thrilling circus-slash-arcade bar and eatery — think cocktails topped with popping candy and Golden Gaytimes, mouth-watering food and a host of arcade games, dodgem cars, bowling and more.

Toombul Centre Manager Melanie Hodge says dining at Upstairs is about more than just food, it is a fully immersive experience. “Our customers have been craving something new and exciting,” said Melanie. “They want more than just a place to shop, they want stimulating experiences and eateries. Toombul will become the place for people to socialize, be entertained and indulged.”

Toombul is one of Brisbane’s oldest shopping destinations. The centre opened in 1967 and boasts a convenient location just seven kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD. Toombul is anchored by Coles, Kmart, Target and Aldi, with seven Mini Majors, over 110 specialty stores and an eight-screen BCC Cinema Complex.
