The Brisbane Racing Carnival program begins with the Kirin Doomben 10,000, this Saturday 12 May at Doomben Racecourse. Racing enthusiasts, fashionistas and hot spot punters will be entertained by the thunder of hooves as the grand thoroughbred racing season begins.
More than just horse racing, the day will include trackside entertainment to enhance the raceday experience for all in attendance. Enjoy The Village precinct and Fashions on the Field, or soak in the atmosphere at the Vintage Rose and Chandon pop up bars. Restaurant cuisine will also be available trackside as well as live entertainment from Made in the 80s.
Raceday ambassador Beau Ryan, who will be celebrating his birthday, and wife Cara will join guests trackside, along with local personalities Liz Cantor, Kendall Gilding and Damien Anthony Rossi. Guests are encouraged to wear bold colours to celebrate the launch of the racing season. Gates open at 10am.
