Brisbane Quarter has been transformed into a Christmas light spectacular with more than 8000 lights covering the precinct on the corner of Adelaide and George Streets. This lighting technology is a first in Queensland.

The festive lighting showcases various Christmas patterns. These include ribbons, stars and bells in vivacious colours. Made up with RGB LED pebble lights and a digital control system incorporating hundreds of colours, it can be programmed to create an infinite number of images and patterns. The lights are low voltage and are environmentally friendly due to their minimal power consumption.

The lighting installation at Brisbane Quarter has been designed and installed by Brisbane based The Prop House and VM Plus.

Alongside the installation, Brisbane Quarter also brings the festive cheer this Christmas with free gelato and a live acoustic Christmas Carol show. Dining options such as Phat Boy, Persone or Brisbane Phoenix all stay open for dinner.
