Birkdale business Ginger & Lime Café has celebrated its first anniversary with a gold coin donation coffee promotion on Tuesday 10 April, also expanding its café footprint into neighbouring retail space. Café owners Kate and Steph Forster celebrated the year of operation by giving back to the community, donating all funds raised on the day to Guide Dogs Queensland. During the event, patrons purchased their favourite small Di Bella Coffee for a gold coin donation. Steph expressed being a part of Di Bella Coffee’s support network has contributed to their success.

“From the first time we opened our doors in 2017 until now, they have helped us share our love of quality coffee with the Redlands community,” Forster said. “Di Bella Coffee has been like an extended family to us; we have a really loyal relationship and that’s not just related to the coffee, it’s in all the extra support they offer.” As consumer palates evolve with the changing coffee culture in Australia, Steph said their customers have taken a liking to the Di Bella brand and love the consistency that the speciality roaster offers. “Their smooth blend is what gets our customers coming back. We have used nothing but premium quality coffee since opening our doors and customers love the consistency that Di Bella Coffee delivers without the bitter after taste,” Forster said. “A year on and our café has now expanded and will continue to provide quality food and coffee.”

Di Bella Coffee Queensland Business Development Manager Christian Bianco said the relationship reinforces their commitment to providing café customers with consistently high quality coffee. “It’s a privilege to be able to roast coffee for Ginger & Lime Café and offer them a point of difference to share with their customers,” Bianco said. “We’re so excited to be a part of their journey and to create the ultimate coffee experience for locals.”
