Australian Men’s Fashion Week (AMFW) has announced Saint Marténo will be the first label to walk at its inaugural pilot catwalk show, showcasing its Premium Streetwear line this coming October in collaboration with the Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival (SCFF).

Based in Queensland, Aeden Martin started designing shirts at age 16, printing his first shirt at age 17, which he sold to his friends. From there he continued to design and expand his creativity. Aeden created the Saint Marténo online store with the intention for his peers to buy his clothing, but then quickly got the attention of interstate buyers and international sales through posting and advertising on social media. After running for three years, Aeden has expanded his range and has a target market, gaining much influence and attention on different social media platforms.

Following the success of Men’s Fashion Weeks in New York, Milan and London, AMFW is the first menswear exclusive event in Australia showcasing the Australian men and Australian menswear labels to the world. Director of AMFW Charlie Hall said this year’s collaboration with SCFF allows AMFW to provide Menswear Labels with every affordable marketing opportunity that SCFF labels receive. “At the same time, we are associated with a long-standing (11 years) professional event that is nationally and internationally respected.  To benefit from their knowledge and logistics and partnerships, bringing you, the label, more opportunity,” said Charlie.

As an experienced model and the Model Ambassador for the SCFF in 2017, Charlie is a person with great connections and the respect he has garnered over his modelling career, granting him a solid place to make AMFW happen.
