Skydive Australia, part of adventure tourism company Experience Co, has launched a luxury skydiving experience at Whitehaven Beach in Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands region.
Tandem jumpers will experience the ultimate thrill, freefalling up to 220 kilometres per hour from a height of 14 thousand feet. Far North Queensland General Manager Steve O’Malley says this is the ultimate skydiving experience in Australia. “There’s no other place like this in Australia or on the planet. Whitehaven Beach is regularly voted one of the best beaches in the world,” said Steve.
“Customers of this new experience will be able to take in the breathtaking views of the islands, then land on the pristine white sands of Whitehaven Beach. We then take them back to shore on a specialised cruise vessel to Airlie Beach.”
The experience includes video and a once in a lifetime photos package and will initially be available every Wednesday.
