Winter has arrived, and it is time to embrace the cold. Bask in clear igloos and indulge in the smoky flavours at Customs House’s newest event. Luxury-brand Belvedere Vodka is partnering with one of Brisbane’s most exclusive spots for Arctic by Customs House, a pop up bar featuring winter inspired cocktails, luxury fur interiors, and a decadent Polish themed menu.
Expect the space to be decked out in aesthetic faux fur furniture and heaters to keep out the chill, making it the perfect place to stop by for after work drinks or late night celebrations with friends. For those who want to drink in the views without bracing the Brisbane cold, the event’s signature igloos are the perfect solution. These igloos can be reserved, and act as both a private relaxed space and insulation from the cool night air. Under the domes, groups will sink into the fur draped lounge chairs and Northern European furnishings while enjoying signature drinks and the bar’s menu.
The night’s reigning cocktail is the Belvedere Express, a blend of Belvedere Vodka with Kahlua and chilled espresso. The bar will also feature a Popcorn Martini, a concoction of popcorn and caramel syrup with Belvedere Pure, chilled espresso and salt. For the sweet tooths, enjoy the Belvedere Apple Strudel which boasts ingredients like their signature vodka, spiced rum and juniper berries with a pastry garnish.
Food wise, traditional Polish bites like baby Kransky with sauerkraut and mustard on sourdough will be served, mixed in with smoked duck rillettes and venison pies. Favourites such as Swiss Gruyere 1655 with sour apple compote and the extravagant baked whole brie with thyme and crostini cheese boards will be on the menu. Launching on Thursday 10 May and continuing into the cooler months, this is one winter wonderland you don’t want to miss.
