All roads led to Rome when the Right Royal Affair, presented by QSuper, was held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday 2 June. In its 10th year, the RBWH Foundation’s most important fundraising event of the year raised more than $160,000 to fund a range of research projects and services at the hospital. The BCEC was transformed into a Roman amphitheatre with towering columns and colossal statues. Guests were treated to displays of aerial acrobatics, a mock gladiator battle and fire eating before taking to the dance floor themselves to dance the night away. Special guests included Minster for Natural Resources Dr Anthony Lynham and Executive Director of RBWH Dr Amanda Dines.
