The Sunshine Coast International Fashion Festival (SCIFF) will present a curated fashion show of established and emerging designers on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September. Saint Marteno is a men’s and women’s clothing brand inspired by the modern streetwear aesthetic which will showcase its latest collection at the festival.
Based in Queensland, Saint Marteno Founder Aeden Martin started designing shirts at age 16, printing his first shirt at age 17, which he sold to his friends and those in his social network. From there he continued to design and expand his creativity. Aeden created an online store for his peers to buy his clothing but then quickly got the attention of interstate buyers and international sales through posting and advertising on social media.
Saint Marteno has been worn by multiple social media influencers and advertised on different social media platforms, generating more traffic, attention and demand. Aeden, now in his very early 20’s, has taken the leap and is the first menswear label to showcase at the SCIFF. Other designers featured at the festival include Matilda Cove, Arvia Active and Siren Clothing.
