Summer Paradise Seekers is a new and upcoming local surf label from Canberra. Launched in 2017 on the FASHFEST runway, one of Canberra’s biggest red carpet fashion events of the year, the label is set to make a splash. The designer is 19 year old Ashleigh, creating the label to represent Australia’s beautiful coastlines and the laid back surf culture.

For Ashleigh, her main inspiration stems from her love of the Gold Coast and greater Queensland area. All of her designs are inspired by the city’s beautiful landscapes and creative vibe that she sees on her regular travels to the coast. Ashleigh believes it really is a surfers paradise and artists dream.

Summer Paradise Seekers design a range of unisex cotton and muscle t-shirts, which are suitable for beach goers of all ages. All shirts are made with Australian cotton and are manufactured by local printing company PSI Screening Printing.

The designs are hand sketched, using intricate patterns and lined detail to create not just a simple picture, but a story. The Summer Paradise Seekers label provides wearable art, with soon to be wearable memories. Ashleigh hopes her design evoke the warm summer nights, the salty air, and the palm trees swaying that is iconic of the Gold Coast.

The label has been recognised by television, print media and bloggers nationally within WIN Television, Canberra Weekly, Her Canberra, Leiden Magazine, Editbywendy, and City News. Recently, the label has been recognised and worn by NRL sporting great Johnathan Thurston of the North Queensland Cowboys.

This year, Ashleigh has launched her stock from the FASHFEST runway on her website, ready to sell. Her wish, to share the Australian surf scene in comfortable and wearable art.
